CALAIS – Performers are being sought to participate in the area’s celebration of the 400th anniversary of the French settlement on St. Croix Island.

Festivities in 2004 will center around a large-scale, weeklong festival surrounding the initial landing. An organizing committee is seeking performers, especially musicians, to participate. The festivities will have not only a French and Acadian flavor, but will include a wide range of cultures, organizers say.
