I was appalled to read about the possible closing of the Exeter and Garland schools next year, plus the elimination of 10 teaching jobs.

My 8-year-old daughter is a second grader at the Garland School and has been comfortable taking the school bus there. If she were to be transferred to Dexter or some other school, it would be confusing for her, because she has been used to the bus route to Garland.

I urge the SAD 46 school district to consider other options than the closing the Exeter and Garland schools. Judy Weckman Corinna
