Ross Manor

Residents enjoyed their weekly afternoon of reading on Aug. 9 when stoies that brought back memories of “olden days” were shared.

On the 10th, residents were delighted to spend the morning with their young friends from Children’s Garden.

Residents who ventured to Cascade Park Aug. 12 for the Super Senior Festival wholeheartedly participated. Wheelchair races, a picnic, and many musical delights entertained the folks.

The Sundy church service Aug. 15 was conducted by the Rev. George John of Bangor.

Hasbrouck Court

How do you like your ice cream? You had your choice at the ice cream socials at Hasbrouck Court on Aug. 17 and Longfellow Heights Aug. 10. One might have started with a homemade brownie, followed by favorite ice cream flavors and heaped with toppings.

As an added attraction, neighbors celebrated the birthdays of Lucille Heffington and Angela Page. An ice cream social is scheduled for Talmar Woods Aug. 31.

Westgate Manor

Residents enjoyed pet therapy with 6-week-old Cocker Spaniel puppies brought by volunteer Lynn Ross, who raises them.

A cookout with families was held last week. Rersidents and staff dressed in clothes with a tropical theme. Harley Soule entertained with guitar and vocals
