PRESQUE ISLE – Kyle James tallied two goals, including the game-winner with 32 seconds left in regulation, to lead the undefeated Presque Isle Wildcats to a 2-1 schoolboy soccer victory over the Brewer Witches Saturday.
Trevor Graves and Nick Robertson each added an assist. Ben Sirois and Brad Baker combined for six saves on seven shots. Sirois saved a penalty kick in the first half.
Evan Whitney was credited with a goal for 2-1 Brewer. Mark Quimby stopped 16 of 18 shots.
C. Aroostook 1, So. Aroostook 1
At Mars Hill, Central Aroostook’s Brock Burtt scored to tie it with 15:53 left in regulation, but neither team could convert in overtime.
Kyle Larrabee assisted on Burtt’s goal. John Boyd and Adam Crew combined for 16 saves on 22 shots for the 3-6-2 Panthers.
Tom St. Pierre kicked in a penalty shot with 23:21 left in the first half for the 6-1-1 Warriors of Dyer Brook. Jeff Boutilier stopped 20 of 26 shots.
Old Town 4, Fort Kent 3
At Old Town, Kevin Emerson was credited with the eventual game-winner, which deflected off a defender, as the Indians edged the Warriors.
Tyson O’Keefe scored two goals for 4-0 Old Town. Andy Pease added another score and Tyler Tracewski made eight saves on 12 shots.
Ethan Raymond led 3-3-1 Fort Kent with two goals. James Raymond had a goal and an assist. Dustin Nadeau stopped 16 of 20 shots.

Ellsworth 4, Caribou 1
At Ellsworth, Kris Tracy racked up two goals and an assist to propel the Eagles past the Vikings.
Jensen Rich and Tristan Werner each chipped in with a goal for 2-1 Ellsworth. Matt Wood added two assists and Alex Lyons had one assist. Noah Brown, Jay Desmond, and Corey Smith combined for four saves on seven shots.
Jeff St. Peter scored an unassisted goal for 2-3-1 Caribou. Micah Maurio stopped 10 of 28 shots.
Houlton 2, Hermon 2 (2OT)
At Houlton, the Shiretowners and Hawks battled to a double-overtime deadlock.
Pat Rowe and Ian Pasquarelli tallied a goal each for 0-3-5 Houlton. Erik O’Connell made 17 saves on 19 shots.
Jason Shorey and Grady Hurd provided the goals for 1-2-1 Hermon. Phil Cayford stopped seven of nine shots.
Greenville 4, Vinalhaven 0
At Greenville, Jonah Lizotte blasted home a penalty kick to spark the Lakers.
Chris Waldron tallied a goal plus an assist for 3-1 Greenville, while Durgin McKusick and Kyle Belmont added a goal each. Gregory Aucoin stopped all four shots he faced.
Tyler Philbrook rejected 10 out of 14 shots for 0-4 Vinalhaven.
MDI 1, Orono 0
At Mount Desert, Alex Gould scored off a pass from Cody Stratton to spark the 1-2 Trojans.
Adam Thurston made seven saves on 11 shots for the winners. Evan Jones stopped 10 out of 17 for the 1-2-1 Red Riots.

Presque Isle 3, Brewer 2
At Presque Isle, Erica Egeler’s goal five minutes into the second half gave the Wildcats a 3-0 lead and proved to be the game-winner as the Witches stormed back with unassisted goals from Rachel Wing and Melissa Jacobs.
Billi Blanchard scored two goals for 3-3 Presque Isle, the first on an assist from Tasha Deschene and the second from Bailly Hovey. Melissa DeMerchant and Jessica Price combined for three saves on seven shots.
Katie Harris and Stephanie Dickey combined to make 18 saves on 25 shots for 2-2 Brewer.
Caribou 2, Ellsworth 0
At Ellsworth, Michelle Ouellette scored a goal and contributed an assist as the Vikings earned their sixth win.
Simone Willett chipped in with a goal and Leah Drew stopped four of seven shots for the 6-1 Vikings.
Victoria Jones made five saves on 10 shots for the 1-2 Eagles.

Limestone 8, Easton 2
At Limestone, Ashley Brooker tallied four goals and Jacinda St. Pierre dished out four assists as the Eagles soared.
Lindsey Beaulieu, Kay Porter, Pearl Ryder, and Sara Roy provided a goal each for the winners. Nikki Michaud made 15 saves on 16 shots.
Nina Alexander knocked in two goals for the Bears. Karrin Patterson rejected 16 out of 27 shots.

At Calais, the Blue Devils and Owls fought to a scoreless, double-overtime deadlock.
Darcy Gillespie stopped all 10 shots she faced for 1-0-1 Calais. Michelle Lavertu rejected eight of 11 shots for 2-6-1 Madawaska.
Old Town 2, Fort Kent 1
At Old Town, goals by Jen Higgins and Katie Bergeron sparked the 4-0 Indians.
Heather Surette dished out an assist for Old Town. Whitney Carey saved 13 out of 15 shots.
Sara Ouellette scored for the 4-3 Warriors and Mindy Morneault stopped 18 of 27 shots.

At Danforth, Skylar Richardson scored off a Valerie Bowen assist to tie the game for the Tigerettes, but neither team scored in overtime.
Richardson’s goal came with 7:19 left in the first half. Roliza Dewitt made eight saves on 14 shots for 0-1-1 Shead of Eastport.
Chantel Parker scored on a penalty kick with 15 minutes left in the first half. Paula Osnoe stopped 17 of 22 shots for the 1-0-1 Vikings.
Lee 8, Katahdin 1
At Lee, Sam Cole knocked in three goals as the Pandas cruised.
Shelby Pickering, Marcy Morris, Jackie Morris, Jenny Stevens, and Ashley Jandreau had a goal each for the winners. Ashlee Gifford rejected five of nine shots.
Krystal McMoran scored for the Cougars of Sherman Station and Jamie Gray made nine saves on 24 shots.
Houlton 1, Hermon 0
At Houlton, Nicole Beals knocked in the game-winner with 25:04 left in the first half to lift the Shiretowners.
Anna Lenentine made seven saves on seven shots for 3-5 Houlton.
Shannon Wiggin stopped six of 14 shots for the 0-3 Hawks.

At Blue Hill, Bethany Roberts scored two goals to power the Eagles past the Howlers.
Brandi Winters added a goal and an assist for 2-1 George Stevens. Robin Rioux had an assist. Liz Tyler and Samantha Haskell combined for two saves on seven shots.
Jen Plourde made eight saves on 28 shots for 1-3 Penobscot Valley of Howland.

At Milo, Ashley Pelletier and Amanda Martin combined for four saves on four shots to help the Patriots shut out the Wolverines of East Millinocket.
Erin Beasley and Kate Hamlin each scored a goal for Penquis, and Jenn Hussey added an assist.
Megan Carey stopped 15 of 20 shots for Schenck.
Bucksport 6, Foxcroft 2
At Bucksport, Elissa Gordon and Jill Richards each had two goals as the Golden Bucks rolled past the Ponies.
Richards also had an assist for the winners. Brittni Adams and Brittany Damon added a goal each for 3-0-1 Bucksport. Jessie Taylor dished out three assists. Damon and Felicia White combined to make four saves on six shots.
Leslie Nelson and Erica Kaufmann each had an unassisted goal for the 0-3 Ponies.
Kate Walsh stopped 23 of 35 shots.
