Building to be more accessible

SCARBOROUGH — The Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife has announced that the Scarborough Marsh Interpretative Center at 92 Pine Point Road will become accessible to the disabled.

Construction of ramps and observation decks, parking lot paving and related projects will be done, 7 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Wednesday, Oct. 25-27. A dedication ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 28.

The work is made possible through a grant by Safari Club International and its Maine chapter. Paving of a van loading area will be donated by Commercial Paving Company of Scarborough.
