NEWPORT – David Buzanoski converted a penalty kick in overtime to give Nokomis a 2-1 boys soccer victory over Brewer on Thursday.
A Nokomis player was taken down inside the 18-yard line to set up the penalty kick. Matt Fraser tied the game at 1-1 with just 3:13 left in regulation when he scored off a pass from Buzanoski.
Mike Jacques made eight saves on 12 shots for the 4-3-1 Warriors.
Joey Caron scored an unassisted goal with 30 minutes left in the game for 3-3-1 Brewer, and Matt Quimby finished with 13 saves on 21 shots.

Sumner 2, Narraguagus 1
At East Sullivan, Christian’s Knoeler’s goal off a Roger Sargent pass with 18 minutes left in the game gave the Tigers the winning edge over the Knights of Harrington.
Will Seyffer scored the first goal for 3-5-1 Sumner off an assist from Knoeler. Juan Carlos made nine saves on 17 shots.
Gabe Checker converted a Saben Rossi pass for a goal for Narraguagus, now 2-5-1. Eric Pelletier finished with 21 saves on 32 shots.
Camden Hills 6, Oak Hill 1
At Rockport, Damon Massey racked up three goals as the Windjammers cut the wind out of the Raiders’ sails.
Jake Dincer dished out two assists for the winners, and Adam Stearns, Barry Beveridge and Alex Moro had a goal each. Morgan Kerr and Kyle Bragg combined to make five saves on six shots.
Josh Parron scored an unassisted goal for Oak Hill of Sabattus. Jeremy Levesque turned back 12 out of 19 shots.
MDI 3, Orono 0
At Orono, Richard Hilliard and Kyle Jones each had a goal plus an assist in the victory for the Trojans.
Alex Galo added a goal for 4-3-1 Mount Desert Island. Adam Thurston stopped all four shots he faced.
Evan James rejected seven out of 10 shots for the 2-4-1 Red Riots.

At Searsport, Jessica Ploude and Jessica Wilson knocked in a goal each to lead the 5-0-1 Vikings.
Sara Glidden and Nicole Kito had an assist each for Searsport. Mo Hall made eight saves on 11 shots.
Brandi Winters notched an unassisted goal for the 2-4 Eagles of Blue Hill. Liz Tyler rejected 14 out of 23 shots.

At Bingham, Lindsay Marston’s two goals helped propel the Bucks to victory.
Emily Johnson tallied a goal plus an assist for Buckfield. Coleen Vrollitte made 10 saves on 11 shots.
Loretta Fitzmaurie racked up 22 saves on 25 shots for the Cavaliers.
Hermon 2, John Bapst 1
At Hermon, Jessie Wiggin tallied a goal plus an assist to spark the 3-3-1 Hawks.
Megan Watson added a goal for Hermon. Shannon Dobbins made 11 saves on 12 shots.
Lily Krichels scored off a pass from Katie Anderle for the 2-5 Crusaders of Bangor. Ashley Cluff stopped seven out of nine shots.

At Brewer, Lindsey Welch scored two goals to lead Nokomis of Newport past the Witches.
Kristina Gonzalez, Amy Preble, and Beth Bragdon each scored a goal for the 3-3-1 Warriors. Tia Beauregard made 10 saves on 24 shots.
Stacie Bean and Melissa Jacobs each scored for the 2-5 Witches while Katie Harris and Stephanie Dickey saved six of 21 shots.

At Corinth, Becky Fortier scored the game-winner on a direct kick from 25 yards out to give the 4-2-1 Patriots the win.
Kelly Miller tallied an unassisted goal for the winners and Pam Reitsma made 14 saves on 15 shots.
Nicole Logue scored the lone goal for the 1-4-2 Red Devils. Nicole Daniel stopped 13 of 17 shots.
Lee 7, Penobscot Valley 0
At Lee, Shelby Pickering scored three goals and assisted on another as the Pandas improved to 7-0.
Cassandra Thompson contributed a pair of goals with Kristen Hersom and Melissa Hanscom adding the other goals. Marci Mooers had an assist and Ashlee Gifford made eight saves.
Nancy Hallett and Jen Plourde combined for 16 saves for 2-5 Penobscot Valley of Howland.

At Bangor, Jenn Towne had a goal and an assist to help lead the Bangor Rams to the win.
Goalie Ilyse Angst made five saves on seven shots for her fourth shutout. Laura Clarke and Jessie Roberts each scored a goal for the 5-1-1 Rams. Lauren Quaglia and Megan Clifford each had an assist.
Victoria Jones made 15 saves on 29 shots for the 2-4 Eagles.

At Hampden, the unbeaten Broncos notched their eighth win of the season as Erin Campbell led the way with a goal and three assists.
Tyne Franchi scored two goals and Danielle Billings added one. Alyssa Forrest assisted on a goal. Gabby Schrage saved six of seven shots.
Lauren Young scored unassisted for the Red Riots. Marie Lint and Joelle Klingerman teamed up for 16 saves on 22 shots.

At Thorndike, Violet Soisson racked up three goals, giving her seven in the last three games after returning from an ankle injury.
Holly Whitcomb and Molly Houser had a goal each for the 3-4 Mustangs. Megan Rehmeyer made five saves on six shots.
Anna Curley tallied a goal for the 0-7 Tigers. Jessica Clark rejected 12 out of 19 shots.

Ashley Marsden stopped 16 out of 39 shots for the 0-7-1 Ponies.

At Belfast, Emily Biscone tallied two goals as the Lions improved to 6-1.
Lindsey Bryant and Rosie Hughes had a goal each for Belfast and Katie Nickerson dished out an assist. Emily Worth and Bryna Harrington stopped all four shots they faced.
Sarah Roderigue made six saves on eight shots for the 4-2 Black Raiders.

At Pittsfield, Sarah Skinner took a pass from Erin Brown and scored the only goal in the game with a shot from 16 feet out and 20:47 left in the game.
Amanda Littlefield and Tash Scott teamed up to make 11 saves on 11 shots for the 4-3-1 Lions.
Tara Weeman saved seven of eight shot for the 4-3-1 Huskies.
