The Maine Audubon Society is sponsoring a May 6-21 tour of Ireland’s west coast. The trip will focus on archaeological remains dating back thousands of years, as well as on intriguing natural areas.
Among the scheduled stops is the Burren, an unusual limestone landscape where Mediterranean and alpine wildflowers coexist. A home-stay in Donegal, a visit to Glenveagh National Park and time in Dublin are also planned. For details, call (207) 781-2330.
