University of Maine hockey player Cory Thibodeau pleaded not guilty Monday in 3rd District Court in Bangor to a single charge of assault stemming from an April 30 altercation on the Orono campus. Thibodeau, of Old Town, awaits a June 2 trial in Bangor. Meanwhile, Black Bears basketball player Christopher “Kip” Keeling of Bangor, who was charged on April 29 with criminal threatening with a firearm after a campus incident, will be arraigned Friday in Bangor.
