I recently went to my town office to vote on an absentee ballot because my work schedule on Nov. 5 will prohibit my voting that day. In my district in Waldo County, we have two Green Party candidates, both of whom I voted for.

As I left, I wondered whether the early election returns would influence those who haven’t voted yet. So, my news is that the Green Party may be leading in Winterport.
