BOSTON – The Boston Celtics have appointed John Brody executive vice president of marketing, putting him in charge of sales and marketing for the franchise.

Brody, a native of Waterville, joins the Celtics after five years at Major League Baseball Properties in New York, where he was most recently vice president of corporate sales and marketing.
