Fort Kent Community High School honor parts for the Class of 1994 include Jason Morneault, valedictorian, and Tim Paradis, salutatorian.
Morneault, son of Guy and Angela Morneault of Fort Kent, is vice president of the National Honor Society and the student council. He has been awarded the University of Maine Certificate of Merit, was Student of the Week on WAGM and received the Class Citizenship Award. He has attended Maine Scholars’ Days and Boys’ State. Morneault was student council secretary and captain of the cross country running team. He plans to major in engineering and management at the University of Maine.
Paradis, son of Bernard and Nancy Paradis of Fort Kent, is treasurer of the student council. He has been awarded the Maine Academic Achievement Award, was named WAGM Student of the Week and attended Maine Scholars’ Days and Boys’ State. Paradis has been involved in the Environmental Club, Drama Club and Science Olympiad team. He is captain of the volleyball team and obtained a varsity letter in soccer, baseball and volleyball. Paradis plans to major in engineering at the University of Maine.
Honor essayist is Michele Stadig, daughter of Allen and Judy Stadig of Soldier Pond.
Fort Kent Community High School graduation will be held at 2 p.m. June 12, in the gymnasium.
