Snow postpones EM game

At Van Buren, the Eastern Maine Class D championship game between No. 3 Van Buren and No. 8 Shead of Eastport was postponed to Monday because of snow.

The teams will play at 2 p.m. today.

Crusaders coach Steve Lapierre said the high school field had 2-3 inches of snow on it and the area was expecting more flurries later Saturday afternoon.

Lapierre said the field will likely be wet in spots but clear of snow for Monday’s game.
