BANGOR — Spruce Run, which provides hotline services and shelter to battered women and their children, will hold a 24-hour children’s worker course two evenings a week beginning in mid-January in Bangor.

Also, a 43-hour hot line course will be held Monday and Thursday evenings, Jan. 19 through March 9. One-year commitments are requested of those volunteering. For information or to apply, call 945-5102 before Jan. 13.
