Leah Guidinger

ORONO – University of Maine freshman volleyball player Leah Guidinger was named the America East Rookie of the Week. She averaged 2.67 digs and 3.67 kills per game with a .273 hitting percentage this season, and recorded 15 kills, six digs and a block in a 3-0 sweep over conference foe Binghamton.

GORHAM – University of Southern Maine goaltender Jessie Superichi was selected the Little East field hockey Defensive Player of the Week. She collected 15 saves, including a shutout last week, as the Huskies picked up two wins.
