SCARBOROUGH — A 3-year-old Windham boy died Friday when a car driven by his mother collided with a furniture truck on Black Point Road, police said.

James Duran was dead when police arrived shortly after the 10:10 a.m. accident, according to Sgt. Angelo Mazzone.

He said a car driven by Rose Ann Duran, 40, struck the truck as its driver was turning onto Old County Road.
