At Bangor, sophomore left wing Seth Sands collected a hat trick and B.J. Costa made 35 saves to lead Foxcroft Academy over Messlonskee of Oakland at Sawyer Arena on Wednesday night.

Ben Cookson, Rob Freese and David Speed had the other FA goals with Freese and Speed each picking up an assist. Ry Hoffman had two assists.

Nate Ponitz scored the Messalonskee goal, and Ryan Ridky made 27 saves.

FA is 3-2-1. Messalonskee fell to 4-1.
