PRESQUE ISLE — The Maine Center for Women, Work and Community (formerly Displaced Homemakers Program) will conduct a free self-esteem workshop series at the Aroostook Hall at Northern Maine Technical College. The course will be held 9 a.m.-noon, Tuesday and Thursday mornings, starting Feb. 7.
The sessions are designed to improve self-esteem by examining attitudes and beliefs.
The sessions are open to the public, although priority will be given to displaced homemakers who are widowed, divorced, separated, or have a disabled or unemployed spouse and need to become economically self-sufficient.
