Skowhegan edges Brewer in OT

SKOWHEGAN -, Jared Rivers scored on a 15-foot jumper off the glass with two seconds left in overtime to give the Skowhegan Indians a 71-69 schoolboy basketball win over the Brewer Witches Tuesday night.

Rivers scored 12 of his 22 points in the fourth quarter and dished eight assists. Zeb Davis led the scoring with 27 points and Wes Calder added 12.

Jared Seavey scored 18 points and Troy Leavitt had 15 for the Witches.
