Police in Bangor and Brewer converged on a man who allegedly was driving a stolen vehicle through Brewer. Brewer police stopped the vehicle on Washington Street in Bangor. The driver, Gerald Doyle, 34, of 119 State St., Bangor, reportedly fled on foot but was captured and placed under arrest. He was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and taken to Penobscot County Jail.
An employee of Business Express at the Bangor International Airport reported that someone entered the locked business Sunday night and stole $494.16 from a locked safe. Police reported no signs of forced entry.
An Apple computer valued at $1,000 was reported stolen from St. John’s School in Bangor. Police reported that someone broke a window and entered the building between Tuesday, July 19, and Tuesday, July 24.
An employee of Union Street Citgo reported that someone broke a window at the service station Monday night and stole $600 in cash from a back office.
John Guzik, 39, Bangor, was arrested in Bangor early Tuesday morning and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquor. He was taken to Penobscot County Jail and was scheduled to appear in 3rd District Court on Aug. 27.
Gregory Hill, 19, Bangor, was arrested in Bangor Monday night and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquor, possession of drug paraphernalia, failing to stop for a stop sign and transportation of alcohol by a minor. He was taken to Penobscot County Jail and was scheduled to appear in 3rd District Court on Aug 14.
David Kaulfers, 23, 498 Hammond St., Bangor, was arrested in Bangor and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquor and operating a motor vehicle without license.
Steven Parkhurst, 26, 32 Hewey St., Bangor, was arrested in Bangor and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquor, operating a motor vehicle while his license was suspended and unauthorized use of property. He was taken to Penobscot County Jail and was scheduled to appear in 3rd District Court on Aug. 21.
Jean Strout, 38, Glenburn, was arrested in Bangor and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquor. He was taken to Penobscot County Jail and was scheduled to appear in 3rd District Court on Aug. 27.
