ORONO – Stacey Porrini of the University of Maine has been named the North Atlantic Conference Player of the Week for the period ending Sunday.

Porrini, a 6-foot-4 center from Bristol, Conn., averaged 21 points and 9.5 rebounds in the Black Bears’ 19th and 20th victories of the season as Maine locked up the NAC regular-season championship for the second straight year.
