ABBOT — Police are investigating a drive-by shooting at an Abbot business that occurred early Thursday morning.

Sgt. Larry Bickford said a high-caliber bullet tore through a steel front door at North Country Properties on Route 15.

Police believe the shot was fired at about 1 a.m. because a resident reported that she heard shots fired at that time near the business.

Anyone who may have seen a vehicle in that area at that time is encouraged to call the sheriff’s department.
