ORONO – Chris Bagley’s three-run homer off a 1-0 pitch with two outs in the bottom of the eighth lifted the Orono Red Riots to a 12-9 schoolboy baseball win over the Winslow Black Raiders Friday.
Bagley’s homer helped Orono overcome a seven-RBI performance by Winslow’s Greg Michaud, who homered twice and singled.
Bagley had a double to go with his homer and he drove in five runs for the Riots. Evan Stinson had two singles and Tim LePage had a double and three RBIs.

Thom Mosley knocked in four runs for the Trojans with a solo homer, a double and a single and Matt Ketchen delivered a pair with a solo homer and a single.

At Brewer, Courtney Phillips’ one-out fielder’s choice scored Heather Hogan from third to cap a three-run rally that enabled unbeaten Brewer to win its 14th.
A walk, Denise Hewes’ single and a throwing error on Hogan’s grounder tied the game and set the stage for Phillips’ grounder.
Hewes had a double and two singles and drove in two runs for Brewer, Phillips had a two-run triple and Jaime Ferris had a two-run double. Alison Lorenz doubled and singled and Sara Burnett doubled.
For Nokomis, Kelly Bowman had two doubles and a single and knocked in two runs.

Heidi Doreika had a double and two singles and drove in two runs for MDI and winning pitcher Brianne Barker had three singles and two RBIs. Slack, Lewis, Melanie Tripp and Cassie Fisher each had two hits apiece with Tripp having a double among her hits.
Monica Bryant tripled and doubled and drove in two runs for Belfast. Tanya Flood and Christine Lesanr had two singles apiece.
