FORT FAIRFIELD – Jeremy White nailed 4 of 4 free throws in the last minute to give the Hodgdon Hawks a 54-50 schoolboy basketball victory over the Fort Fairfield Tigers Tuesday night.
Sam Henderson paced the winners with 27 points, 17 in the first half.
Jon Nichols and Don DeMerchant each scored 12 points in Fort’s balanced attack which featured six 3-pointers in the second half as the Tigers shot over the Hawks’ zone defense. Dave Bernard added 11 and Aaron McGinnis put in 10.

Worcester also grabbed nine rebounds for the winners, who rallied from a three-point third quarter deficit, and Nick Lyford and Chad Dorr had 18 points apiece.
