ELLSWORTH — The Maine Arts Commission will sponsor a town meeting on the arts from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 26, at the Ellsworth Public Library.

The meeting will introduce plans for a cultural assessment of Hancock County and provide a chance to air public opinion on area cultural development.

A community cultural profile will include an inventory of organizations, artists, community events and school programs.
