Central uses balance in win Red Devils trip up Searsport

CORINTH – Five Central players scored in double digits to help give the Red Devils the edge for a 60-54 schoolboy basketball victory over the Searsport Vikings Friday night.

Tristan Strout scored 13 points while Colby Brown added 11, including seven points in the fourth quarter. Joe Allen, Joey Kane and Nick Elliot each added 10 points for the Red Devils.

Spencer Garton led Searsport with 19 points while Josh McFarlin chipped in with 14. Matt Nickerson added 12 points for the Vikings.

Freshman Josh Harmon scored for Stearns of Millinocket off a George Surette pass.
