PHILADELPHIA – Amy Winchester of Orrington, a senior at Dartmouth College, set a school record in taking third place in the shot put at the Penn Relays on Thursday.

Winchester, a Brewer High graduate, threw 50-10 1/4, which qualifies her for the NCAA Championships and the U.S. Olympic Trials. She also threw the discus on Thursday, reaching 150-0.
