HOULTON — The 20th annual Meduxnekeag River Canoe Race sponsored by the Houlton Rotary Club will be held today beginning at 10 a.m.

The race has 12 classes, and registration is 7-9:30 a.m. at the Southern Aroostook Vocational Education building on Bird Street in Houlton. The fee is $12.50 per participant.

The 9 1/2-mile race will begin at the Wellington Farm on Station Road in New Limerick and end at the North Street Bridge in downtown Houlton. Awards will be presented at 1 p.m. at the S.A.V.E. building.
