Royer, Trenkle spark Bowdoin

BRUNSWICK – Kristi Royer scored 17 points and grabbed nine rebounds Friday night to lift Bowdoin College to a 63-46 women’s basketball victory over Tufts of Medford, Mass.

Lora Trenkle tallied 15 points and pulled down nine rebounds for the Polar Bears.

Allison Love’s 17 points led Tufts.

Sarah Walsh chalked up 21 points and 11 rebounds to lead the White Mules. Wendy Bonner notched 20 points and 11 boards, and Bianca Belcher added 14 points.

Angelo Salvaggio collected 14 points and 15 rebounds to spark the Bobcats. C.J. Neely notched 11 points and 10 rebounds, and Brian Gerrity also had 11.
