BRIAN HERASYMCHUCK
The Hampden Academy senior standout completed a grueling distance triple, winning the mile, 800, and 2-mile while leading the Broncos to the Eastern Maine Indoor Track League title.
Small School (Classes C-D)
KYLE BRADFORD
Bradford, a 6-foot junior at Calvary Chapel in Orrington, scored 23 points in a win over Lubec and 27 in a victory over Greenville.
GIRLS
Big School (Classes A-B)
CAMI HOWARD
Howard, a Bangor sophomore swimmer, won the 500-yard freestyle and the 100 butterfly at the Penobscot Valley Conference championship meet Saturday. She also anchored the Rams’ winning 200 free and 400 free relays.
Small School (Classes C-D)
LEANN PIKE
The Lubec junior center scored 19 points to lead the No. 9 Hornets to an upset win over No. 8 Greenville in an Eastern Maine Class D preliminary game. Lubec gained its first quarterfinal berth since 1987.
