. $1.4 million to Coastal Enterprises for the New Enterprise Initiative Fund to provide training for dislocated workers to transition into new jobs.
. $1 million for a sewer upgrade in Corinna.
. $1 million for land acquisition for the Rachel Carson National Wildlife Refuge.
. $900,000 for York County in Job Access and Reverse Commute Grants.
. $800,000 to Central Maine Technology College for its River Valley Machine Tool Technology program to retrain displaced workers.
. $850,000 for Northern Maine Technical College to train northern Maine’s work force for employment in the metal trades.
. $550,000 for Vinalhaven Elder Care Service Inc. for the development of an elder care facility.
. $500,000 for the Maine State Police to upgrade its police radio system.
. $350,000 to the National Park Service for the Downeast Heritage Center.
