Micah Grant, a standout senior guard for the Winslow High boys basketball team, has verbally committed to attend Husson College, according to a press release from the Bangor-based school.

Grant, 6-foot-1, helped lead his team to the Class B and Eastern Maine titles and was named the William C. Warner MVP for the EM ‘B’ tourney.

“He is a leader on and off the floor, who plays hard all of the time,” Husson coach Warren Caruso said. “Micah is a quality student athlete and we are happy to have him join our program.”

Grant led the Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference in scoring with 19.7 points per game, scored a career 1,097 points and was a first-team KVAC selection.
