SOUTH PORTLAND – Howard Rutherford hit a triple with a RBI and scored two runs Monday to help Saint Joseph’s College earn a 10-3 baseball win over Castleton State (Vt.).

Ben Muniz hit a double and a single with two RBIs for the Monks of Standish and Lucas Hannigan had a double with two RBIs and scored two runs.

Greg Kimball scattered nine hits through six innings, striking out nine, to earn the win.

Jesse Kyhill laced a triple with a pair of singles for Castleton State. Chad Phillips had a three singles and two RBIs.
