FORT KENT – The University of Maine at Fort Kent will hold a satellite broadcast session, “Concealed Weapons: The Hidden Danger,” from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday, May 15, in the Nadeau Hall teleconference room.
The broadcast is sponsored by the Multijurisdictional Counter Drug Task Force Training program at St. Petersburg Junior College and the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center.

Participants will learn about the most commonly transported or used weapons and drugs, and hear a discussion about roadside traffic stops.
This broadcast is the fourth installment of a six-part series, “The Drug Enforcement at the Crossroads of America Series: Encouraging Officer Safety.”
Part five, “Concealed Laboratories-First Response,” will be broadcast Thursday, July 17. Part six, “Narcotics Officer Survival Techniques,” will be broadcast Thursday, Sept. 11. To register for this free event, call Don Eno of the Academic Outreach Office at 834-7835.
