Outlook: The Bears hope to take a big step toward the regular-season title with a strong showing. UMaine has won nine of its last 11 overall thanks mostly to outstanding pitching and strong defense. Stony Brook’s veteran ballclub ranks second behind Maine’s .304 in AE batting (.297) and third in pitching (4.94 ERA). The Seawolves won their first eight league games, but have dropped six of the last eight. Drapeau needs four homers to tie the UMaine career record of 52.
