BREWER – Adam Conway gave Matt Carey all the run support he needed with a two-run first-inning single to lead the Foxcroft Academy Ponies to a 5-1 schoolboy baseball win over the Mount Desert Island Trojans Thursday.

Conway added a sacrifice fly and a fielder’s choice RBI for the winners. Josh Withee and Danny White had two singles apiece.

Jon Dow laced two singles to lead the Trojans.
