Two burglaries to motor vehicles were reported on Blue Hill West Drive in Bangor on Monday night, following a half-dozen reported to police earlier in the day.

. A case holding 100 CDs, valued at a total of $1,000, was stolen from a pickup truck sometime over the weekend, according to police reports. A visor organizer containing the truck’s registration and insurance, along with several paycheck stubs, also was taken. All of the truck’s doors were locked and entry was made through a sliding rear window that was pried open, according to police reports.

. A Sony portable CD player valued at $60 and a CD were stolen from an unlocked car sometime last Friday night, according to police reports.

A man was summoned for criminal trespass early Tuesday morning in Bangor after he entered a home on Lincoln Street in search of a friend, according to police reports.

Alan Adams, whose name and residence were not available, denied entering the home and was very intoxicated, according to police reports.

The resident of the home told police she went to her bedroom window after hearing knocking on her door around 1 a.m., to see a man entering her house through the front door. After she yelled at the man, he stepped out of the house and onto the deck, which had no stairs, leading police to believe he had climbed over the railing, according to police reports.

As the man stood on the deck, the resident told him the friend he was looking for was not at her home, and he became belligerent and claimed she was lying to him, according to police reports. The man then left and was later found nearby and questioned by police. He was summoned for criminal trespass and told not to return to the home on Lincoln Street.

A 79-year-old man from Greenfield Township was found Tuesday night after being reported missing by a family member hours earlier.

Arthur Gilbert said he was leaving to go fishing after a neighbor helped him remove his ATV from a muddy spot near Stony Brook at 4 p.m., according to Game Warden David Georgia. Gilbert left his fishing gear at the ATV and nearby residents later attempted to find the man whom Georgia described as a woodsman very familiar with the area.

Gilbert was picked up by family members after dark near Lord Brook and had numerous black fly bites on his ears, neck and hands, Georgia said.

A state trooper and game wardens with search dogs assisted in the search that Georgia said would have become difficult after dark in the swampy area.
