Youth French camp offered at UMFK

FORT KENT – The University of Maine at Fort Kent will offer weeklong French immersion camps in Fort Kent and Madawaska for St. John Valley area pupils entering grades two through five.

One weeklong class session will begin July 21 on the UMFK campus. A second weeklong session will start Aug. 4 at Madawaska Elementary School.

Both sessions will be held from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. daily and will use resources throughout the St. John Valley, in both the United States and Canada.

Registration cost for the immersion camp is $50 per child.
