A job well done by Jeff Tuttle of the Bangor Daily News staff for reporting on the revelation that Maine’s poorest residents are the most loyal to the state’s lottery system (BDN, June 16). Would the reason the richest residents don’t have as much interest be that they already have money? This would explain why I see more Chevys parked at the local mini-mart and not more Bentleys.
I look forward to the BDN’s next expose on perhaps why people who eat a lot are more likely to get fat than those who don’t.
