Brewer soccer programs

BREWER – The Brewer Parks and Recreation Department will hold a North American Sports Camp Major League Soccer Clinic 9 a.m.-noon, Monday through Friday, July 28-Aug. 1, at Doyle Field in Brewer.

The clinic is open to players ages 6-12. Participants will receive instruction, a hand-stitched soccer ball, a camp T-shirt, a companion ticket to a Major League Soccer game and a camp goody bag. The cost is $100 for Brewer residents, $115 for others.

A new Munchkin program for youngsters ages 5-6 has been added to this year’s lineup. It will feature instruction from 9 to 10:30 a.m., a shirt and a ball. The cost is $65 for Brewer residents, $75 for others.

The Challenger British Soccer Camp will be held 5:30-8:30 p.m. Monday-Friday, Aug. 4-8, at Pendleton Street field. The camp is for those 13-18 years old and revolves around fun, personal challenge, maximum participation and positive feedback while providing advanced training for players who are serious about soccer. Participants will receive a ball and a camp shirt. The fee is $100 for Brewer residents, $120 for others.

Orono rec programs

ORONO – The Orono Parks and Recreation Department is accepting registrations for all its summer programs.

Programs include:

. KidZone Summer Day Camp.

. Tee-it Up Golf Clinic July 7-11 for grades two and up.

. FUNdamental Basketball School. The girls session will run July 14-18, and the boys session July 21-25 for children grades three through eight.

. Major League Soccer Camp July 28-Aug. 1 for children ages 5-14.

. Quick Sticks Field Hockey Clinic Aug. 4-8 for grades three through eight.

. Swimming lessons session II.

. Tennis lessons session II.
