MILLINOCKET – Cory Nelson of Medway aced the 153-yard eighth hole at Hillcrest Golf Club on Saturday with a 9-iron. The shot was witnessed by Derek McGillicuddy. This was Nelson’s first hole-in-one.

BANGOR – Jim White aced the 164-yard third hole at Bangor Municipal Golf Course on Saturday with a 6-iron. The shot was witnessed by Nick Fox and Dennis Marble.

HOLDEN – Joy Stevens of Brewer used a 9-iron to ace the 108-yard, par 3 eighth hole at Island Green Golf Links. The shot was witnessed by Harry Stevens.

Doug Miller

MILO – Doug Miller of Hermon shot a hole-in-one on the 171 yard, fifth hole at Katahdin Country Club on Sunday with a 5-wood. Merv Tuttle of Clinton witnessed the event.
