PORTLAND – A 14-year-old Westbrook boy died at Maine Medical Center of injuries suffered in a weekend accident involving personal watercraft on Sebago Lake, the Maine Warden Service said Monday.

The victim’s name was withheld pending confirmation his family was notified.

The boy fell off a Jet Ski driven by his 16-year-old brother and was hit by another Jet Ski operated by a 14-year-old, the warden service said.

The injured youngster was transported to the Portland hospital, where he had been listed in critical condition.

The District Attorney’s Office was reviewing Saturday’s accident to determine if charges were warranted, officials said.
