LINCOLN – The town will sponsor a karaoke night and a road race this weekend to benefit the Lincoln Community Recreational Fund.

V-J Karaoke of Lee will provide musical services 5-11 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, at Prince Thomas Park. Donations are encouraged for the all ages at the event.

The inaugural Lincoln Lakes 5K Road Race will be start at 9 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 17, at the Ella P. Burr School. The first 25 participants to the all-ages event will receive a free race T-shirt. A 1-mile fun walk will start at 9:30 a.m. from the school.
