EAST SULLIVAN – Tyler Cousins’ unassisted first-half goal proved all the George Stevens Academy Eagles would need Tuesday afternoon on their way to a 2-0 boys soccer victory over Sumner.
Peter Graves scored an unassisted goal for 2-1-1 George Stevens Academy of Blue Hill to back the shutout goalkeeping of Colin Henry, who made six saves on 11 shots.
Mason Young came up with 19 saves on 24 shots for 1-3 Sumner.
Bangor Chr. 3, DI-Stonington 1
At Bangor, Anthony Cole scored on a Eric Sobey assist in the first half to help lead Bangor Christian past Deer Isle-Stonington.
Josh Griffin and Shane Murphy each scored in the first half for the 2-2 Patriots and D.J. McCleary made five saves on eight shots.
Devin Gross netted a goal at 17:22 into the second half for the 2-2 Mariners and Robert Haskell made 22 saves on 33 shots.
Piscataquis 3, Central 2
At Corinth, Mike Wharff scored with 27:10 left off a Jeffrey Robinson assist, giving the Pirates the margin of victory.
Andy Zimmerman and Joe Jardine scored a goal each for 5-0 Piscataquis of Guilford, while Chase Burdin added an assist. Josh Luellen made 17 saves on 21 shots.
Danny Kane scored both goals for 0-4 Central. Teague Palmer provided an assist. Charles Haney made 19 saves on 26 shots.
Mount Abram 2, Carrabec 1
At North Anson, Frank Hayes netted an unassisted goal with 3:30 left in the game to give Mount Abram the come-from-behind win.
Sam Witherspoon scored the game-tying goal off a Jeff Beal assist with 5:52 left in the second half for 4-0 Mount Abram of Salem. Andy Sperry stopped three of four shots.
Ben Shaw scored on a Corey McLaughlin assist 7:45 into the first half for 2-2 Carrabec. Jeremy Howell made eight saves on 11 shots.

At Fort Fairfield, Jake Chambers scored two goals to help Fort Fairfield past Limestone.
Fernando Costa netted a goal and had an assist for the Tigers and Billy Scull had a goal. Matt Oakes and Jesse Sayers each aided with an assist. Tyler Bernaiche made five saves on five shots for 4-4 Fort Fairfield.
Travis Peers made three saves on 14 shots for 0-7-1 Limestone.

Shead 4, Calais 1
At Eastport, Skylar Richardson scored two goals and added one assist to lead Shead to the win.
Lauretta Ricker netted two goals for the 2-1 Tigerettes and Samantha Davis assisted on two goals. Brittany Cox made four saves on five shots.
Kayla Cobb scored an unassisted goal for 0-4 Calais and Darcey Gillespie made eight saves on 15 shots.
Hampden 5, John Bapst 2
At Bangor, Kim Stephenson scored a goal and added an assist to help push Hampden past John Bapst.
Liz Kiser, Sarah Robichaud, Jessie Aylward and Sophie Kelmenson each scored a goal for the Broncos. Katie Lawler and Johanna Ghiringehlli each provided assists as Becca Workman made five saves on seven shots for 3-2 Hampden.
Hailey Cutri netted a goal and had an assist for 1-2 John Bapst and Lily Krichels scored a goal. Ellen Juskewitch had an assist and Taylor Greenlaw made 12 saves on 17 shots.

At Hodgdon, Andrea Blanchette took a cross from Brianne McGary and fired a shot from just outside the 18-yard line, scoring the only goal of the game with 26:21 left.
Erin Foster made six saves on 10 shots for 5-4 Hodgdon.
Brittany Lundeen made 10 saves on 15 shots for 5-2-3 Central Aroostook of Mars Hill.
Caribou 4, Madawaska 0
At Caribou, Michelle Ouellette scored a pair of goals and Lindsay Burlock and Shelby Cousins had a goal and an assist apiece as Caribou improved to 5-2.
Rachael Willey made three saves on six shots and Lauren Harrigan had an assist.
Elizabeth LaPlante made 15 saves on 26 shots for Madawaska.
Presque Isle 4, Fort Kent 0
At Fort Kent, Katie Delong scored twice to lift Presque Isle to its sixth win without a loss.
Hilary Harvey scored a goal and had an assist for the Wildcats and Monique Pelletier added a goal. Kylan Smith, Nathasha Deschene, and Stephanie Holton each posted an assist. Melissa Demerchant stopped six of 11 shots.
Mindy Morneault blocked 13 of 18 shots for 2-5-1 Fort Kent.

MCI 2, Oak Hill 1
At Wales, Mackie Sullivan scored the game-winning goal off a Sierra Hendricks assist with 11 seconds left in the game to give Maine Central Institute its first win of the season.
Hendricks had set up Sullivan to score the MCI’s first goal in the first half. Tara Weeman made six saves on eight shots for the 1-3 MCI.
Lana Ouellette scored with six minutes left in the game for 0-4 Oak Hill. Angela Dow stopped seven of 16 shots.
Waterville 3, Belfast 0
At Belfast, Whitney Ross, Lauren Ross and Eryka Quinn each scored a goal to help Waterville to its fourth straight win.
Ashley Poulin blocked all 17 shots that she faced for 4-0 Waterville.
Amanda Littlefield and Liz Anderson combined to make seven saves on 10 shots for 3-1 Belfast.

Hampden 5, Brewer 2
At Brewer, Chelsea Kingsbury’s first-half goal gave the Broncos the eventual winning edge.
Erica Veinote, Amy Ryder, Tini Lumino and Shania Dennis scored a goal apiece for 5-1 Hampden Academy. Hannah Thieme made 12 saves on 14 shots.
Kate Hanlon scored on a Vanessa Michaud assist and Jessica O’Connell tallied an unassisted goal for 0-4 Brewer. Sarah England came up with 11 saves on 16 shots.
