BANGOR – An informational meeting for those interested in enrolling in the new Downeast Russian School at 150 Parkview Ave. in Bangor will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24, at the Bangor Public Library.

The Downeast Russian School Inc. is a nonprofit organization registered with the state. The school will offer classes in Russian, Russian-Ukrainian cuisine, folklore, and other topics. The teacher is Natalia Abramova, Ph.D.
