SURRY – A new hiking trail will open to the public at noon Sunday, Sept. 28, behind the Surry municipal building on the North Bend Road.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony will mark the opening of the one-mile Osgood Trail, created by members of the Surry Conservation Committee and other volunteers. Guided walks will be offered after the ceremony.
