UNITY – Tom Colby tallied three goals and Steve Mullen two assists to lead the Unity College Rams to a 3-1 men’s soccer victory over the Thomas College Terriers Wednesday.
Rob Conrad made 10 saves on 14 shots for the 4-1 Rams.
Nick Branning scored for the 2-1 Terriers and Tyler Ferguson stopped six of nine shots.
Women’s soccer
Colby 6, UM-Farmington 0
At Farmington, Liz Morbeck scored twice in the first half to spark the White Mules.
Kara Meade and Laura Williamson had a goal and an assist each, and Kaitlin Herlihy and Aimee Tetrault added goals for 2-0-1 Colby. Elizabeth Riley made four saves.
Patty Boutin made six saves in goal for 1-1 UMF.
Gordon 2, Southern Maine 1
At Gorham, Lindsey Benson scored both goals as Gordon handed the Huskies their first loss of the season.
Mary Griffenhagen made five saves on 14 shots for the 2-3-1 Fightin’ Scots.
Marcy Ansley stopped three of the 11 shots she faced for 3-1-1 USM.
