Halloween carnival
BANGOR – The Bangor YMCA will hold a Halloween carnival 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, in the Cole gymnasium. Supervised activities include a bounce house, games and prizes, a costume parade, face painting, refreshments and snacks. The cost is $2 per child, no charge to adults.
“The Halloween carnival is a healthy, positive event that provides the opportunity for families to have fun together,” said Nancy Cambridge, Bangor YMCA youth and family director. “It’s crucial for adults and kids to participate together during special holidays. They build bonds that strengthen relationships.”
Cambridge said another good reason to attend the carnival is to get to know the young people in the community.
“Adults know the value of networking,” she said, “but this event gives kids a chance to network, which is simply making new friends through a common interest.”
To learn more about the carnival, call the YMCA at 941-2815.
