UNITY – The Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association will host its fifth annual Low-Impact Forestry Workshop Nov. 14 and 15 at MOFGA’s Common Ground Education Center.

Participants will learn the latest techniques in sustainable forestry management. Working in the woods with draft animals will be a major focus of the workshop, and participants are encouraged to bring their own draft animals.

A special chain-saw safety class also will be held for a limited number of preregistered students.
