Newburgh native Ricky Craven has received a two-year contract extension from PPI Motorsports which will keep him in his No. 32 Tide Winston Cup car through 2006.
It was also announced that primary sponsor Tide has extended its sponsorship for two years through 2006.
“I’m very proud to be part of the Tide team, and I’m excited about our future,” said the 37-year-old Craven in a press release. “We’ve already established some pretty incredible milestones together, and I’m looking forward to achieving even more of our goals as a team in the years to come.”
Craven has racked up two wins, three poles, 10 top-fives, and 24 top-10s in his three seasons with Tide.
Tide is in its 17th season as a primary sponsor in the Winston Cup series and its third with PPI Motorsports.
“We are proud to continue our partnership with PPI Motorsports through 2006,” said Julie Woffington, Procter and Gamble’s Tide Brand manager. “Tide’s relationship with the team, its partners, Ricky Craven, and the NASCAR Winston Cup series has been extremely rewarding both on and off the track.
“We’re looking forward to continuing that relationship alongside [associate sponsors] Downy and Mr. Clean AutoDry in the years to come.”
