At Fort Kent Saturday, Aadil Mootassem scored goals in the 54th and 69th minutes to lead the Bengals.
Andrew Clavette assisted Mootassem’s first goal for 7-2 UM-Fort Kent. Nick Thibodeau had nine saves.

At Orono Saturday, Eric Peterson scored on a Gabriel Germano assist at 32:23 to lift the Black Bears.
Chad Mongeon stopped all three shots that he faced for 5-6-1 UMaine.
Dan Ferrin blocked six of seven attempts for 2-9-1 Stony Brook.
USM 3, UMass-Boston 2 (2OT)
At Boston Saturday, Kevin Colwell scored in the third minute of the second overtime on a Ian Frank assist as the Huskies edged UMass-Boston.
Zach Ansley scored just 28 seconds into the game for 4-6-2 Southern Maine and Ian Dourmas tied the game off of a Ansley feed in the first half.
Alejandro Lopez and Gary J. George each had a goal for the 6-6 Beacons.
Lasell 4, Maine Maritime 0
At Newton, Mass., Saturday, Mike Navedo scored twice to help lead Lasell past MMA.
Matt Walsh scored a goal and made two assists for 10-1-1 Lasell. Graig Murphy made five saves.
Joshua Heath and Derek Shweizer combined to stop eight shots for the 3-5-3 Mariners of Castine.
Amherst 3, Colby 1
At Waterville Saturday, Adrien de Bontin scored two goals to power Amherst.
Franklin Perry added another insurance goal in the second half for 7-2-1 Amherst. Greg Lockwood made seven saves on nine shots.
Trevor McWilliams netted a goal at 88:50 in the game for 5-4-1 Colby and Brian Davidson blocked five of nine attempts.
Women’s soccer
St. Joseph’s 4, UM-Fort Kent 1
At Fort Kent Saturday, Kelly Cyr scored three goals as the Monks rolled over the Bengals.
Jessica Maurais netted the game’s first goal in the seventh minute on a Kate Sirois assist for the 3-8-1 Monks. Michelle Crisp had two assists. Cheryl Northrop made nine saves.
Jess Gagnon scored on a Megan Foreman assist in the 34th minute for 4-6 UM-Fort Kent and Allison Lutz stopped 17 shots.
Lasell 3, Maine Maritime 2
At Newton, Mass., Saturday, Sarah Pochebit scored the game-winning goal at 87:82 as Lasell rallied.
Merina Anderson had two goals for 7-4 Lasell and Britney Falite made five saves.
Kristen Gabor scored in the eighth minute for 7-1-2 Maine Maritime Academy and Amy Asselin scored at 31:42. Meghan Marshall stopped seven shots.
USM 4, UMass-Boston 0
At Gorham Saturday, Eva Hanson netted two goals to help lead Southern Maine to its first conference win.
Kelsey Shamano and Devin Edwards both scored goals for the 5-6-1 Huskies. Amanda Loomis, Andrew Bacon, Lauren Gagnon, and Andrea Miller each had an assist. Rachel Kwantz didn’t face any shots.
Kristen Bowes stopped 12 of 39 shots for 3-9 UMass-Boston.
Field hockey
Maine 2, Boston University 1
At Orono Saturday, Karly Bundy and Jana Ouellette each scored a goal as the Black Bears picked up a key America East win and remained unbeaten at home.
Emily Dooling, Traci Rainone and Amie Dubois each chipped in with an assist for 10-3 Maine. Jaye Lance made six saves.
Celeste Hubbard had a goal for the 6-6 Terriers and Erin Prediger made two saves on the day for the 6-6 Terriers.
Keene State 3, Southern Maine 0
At Gorham Saturday, Tanya Strong scored the game’s first goal at 7:08 and made an assist to lead Keene State.
Steph Georgevits and Nichole Dallas each scored a goal for the Owls. Catlin Baril stopped all three shots that she saw for 8-5 Keene State.
Jessie Superchi made three saves on six shots for the 7-5 Huskies.
Amherst 3, Colby 2
At Waterville, Christine Ryan scored with 5:40 left in the game to lift Amherst to victory.
Tyler Kelly had two first-half goals with an assist by Lauren Sozio. Katherine Skrivan saved eigth of the 10 shots she faced for 8-2 Amherst.
Wendy Bonner scored both goals for the 7-3 Mules. She was assisted on one by Michaelyn Bortolotti and Lauren Smith. Molly Rice made nine saves on 12 shots.
Husson 10, Wheelock 0
At Bangor Saturday, Karole-Anne Emery, Sara McIntire, Crystal Strout, and Nicole Palmer each scored twice as the Braves picked up their fourth straight win.
Gill Show and Janel Fearon added a goal apiece for 6-3 Husson. Tricia Hamm, Amanda Brown, and Palmer each had an assist. Jamie Giles blocked the only shot that she faced.
Michelle Herbert made seven saves on 18 shots for 0-8 Wheelock.
Volleyball
Albany sweeps Maine
At Albany, N.Y., Saturday, Ashley DeNeal had 13 kills and 17 digs to lead the Great Danes past the Black Bears 30-16, 30-11, 30-22.
Ashlee Reed added 10 kills for Albany, now 16-6.
Leah Guidinger had six kills and Brooke Truong added 11 digs for 9-14 Maine.
